It’s that magical time of year when it’s perfectly acceptable to curl up and read with your favourite tipple, in my case a great big mug of Yorkshire tea, and your only means of light being the sparkles emitting from the Christmas tree.
It also happens to be the time of year when all your favourite rom-coms of the last 12 months get a mistletoe themed makeover, all your much loved characters are back and whats more, there is snow all around.
I am definitely one of those readers that is always keen to return for a little extra from my romance novels, always desperate to see how it all worked out after the happy ever after.
Here are just a few of the books I have read, and highly recommend, during the festive season:
No-one ever has Sex on Christmas Day by Tracy Bloom
Sleigh Rides and Silver Bells at the Christmas Market by Heidi Swain
Christmas at Mistletoe Cottage by Lucy Daniels
Mince Pies and Mistletoe at the Christmas Market by Heidi Swain
The Magic of Christmas by Trisha Ashley
Winter Wonderland by Belinda Jones
The Arcade: Christmas by Kitty Charles
Twelve Days of Christmas by Trisha Ashley
Christmas at the Star and Sixpence by Holly Hepburn
Christmas at the Cupcake Cafe by Jenny Colgan
Slight disclaimer: If you haven’t read the predecessors to these titles, please read them…otherwise you may be confused and you will most definitely be missing out!!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, here's hoping Santa leaves you lots of lovely reads in your stockings!
