When quiet, reserved librarian Nina finds her self made redundant she has no idea what she'll do. All she knows is books!
When an advert in the paper for a second hand van catches her eye she starts to believe her dream of owning a book shop could come true after all. So leaving Birmingham behind she heads for the Highlands, and a life full of new challenges.
Between finding herself with her hands inside a sheep and dealing with tasty but temperamental landlord Lennox, will Nina actually manage to sell any books?
Although I enjoyed this book it certainly wasn't my favourite from Colgan. Owning a very tiny bookshop is a dream shared by myself and Nina but even this common ground wasn't enough to endear her to me. She was just a little too mousey and then I didn't find the very sudden change in her persona very believable. In fact I found I didn't really like many of the characters in this novel, with the exception of Lennox and Surinder.
