Helen Grace is in Holloway and encouraged by Gardam and Sanderson this is where her former team all believe she deserves to be. Except Charlie.
Charlie is in a race against time to find Robert Stonehill and prove it was him who committed the murders and framed Helen in the process.
However, all is not well at Holloway, someone is picking off the inmates one by one in a sadistic fashion. With Helens detective instincts still at the fore she begins to conduct her own search within the prison walls.
Will Charlie get to Robert before the killer gets to Helen?
This is the 6th in the Helen Grace series and I was excited to start reading. At first I found the doldrum routine of the prison setting a little dull but it soon picked up as the murders, and subsequently Helens investigation, began.
Told from several narrative strands, as is Arlidges usual style, the story became fast paced and extremely gripping. As the reader I was unsure of the fate Helen would be dealt.
Another great and enthralling instalment that has left me eager for the next!
